Abstract
The course aims at forming a clear-cut understanding of discourse basics as a cross-disciplinary study, its theoretical and methodological grounds as well as developing student's skills in making critical discourse analysis, carrying out pragmalinguistic tasks with regard to functional and stylistic discourse characteristics and modern principles of cognitive linguistics and theory of communication.
