Abstract
The purpose of the discipline - the formation of linguistic and communicative competence of students; conscious positive speech behavior; mastering the norms of modern Ukrainian literary language; acquisition of skills in using the terminology of the future specialty; ability to use different functional styles and backgrounds in educational activities and professional use; formation of skills of communicatively justified use of language means with observance of etiquette of professional communication. Tasks of the discipline: education of students' sense of national consciousness, which significantly increases the motivation to learn the Ukrainian language; formation of communicative, linguistic, speech, subject, pragmatic, socio-cultural competencies of students on the basis of conscious mastery of language and speech theory; correction of spelling and punctuation literacy of future specialists; enrichment of students' vocabulary with terminological vocabulary and phraseology.
