Abstract
The purpose of the discipline: to acquaint students with regularities of formation and development of political journalism in Ukraine, methods of work of journalists in political mass media. Modern students will gain basic knowledge of methodology, legal norms governing the functioning of political media in Ukraine, including the rights and responsibilities of political journalists, skills to create political texts in various genres, the ability to determine current topics of political speeches, collect political data and form an information base , ie theoretical and practical basis for effective practical activities.
