Abstract
The purpose of studying the course "Political Science" is pers knowledge of the political sphere of social life, the acquisition of knowledge about socio-political processes, forms government and state system, the role of the state in society; promoting the formation of students' national consciousness, scientific thinking in the field politics, political culture, interest in deepening and expanding the worldview; awareness of the essence, social purpose and functions of political science, its role and place in the system of socio-humanities.
