Abstract
The entry of humanity into the information age, the globalization of social processes, the development of new technologies are closely linked with innovative transformations in all spheres of human life and in education in particular. Therefore, a high level of education, especially STEM, which covers the natural sciences (Science), technology (Technology), technical creativity (Engineering), and mathematics (Mathematics) is crucial for building the scientific and innovative potential of the state. Since mathematics is one of the components of STEM-education and it occupies a special place in the knowledge system of mankind, playing the role of a universal and powerful method of modern science, the formation of mathematical competencies of a secondary school student is of particular importance. Mathematical methods penetrate into all branches of science and are widely used in everyday life, it is difficult to name a branch of this science, even the most abstract, which has not found application in practice, so the function of mathematics in modern environment strengthens the role of mathematics as a subject in a secondary school and challenges a modern school to educate students of secondary education, capable of creative thinking, making effective solutions to complex problems of their own lives, which determines competitiveness of an individual in today's economic conditions. In this regard, it is extremely important to ensure the development of STEM education in secondary education. The challenges posed to humanity by the COVID-19 pandemic are forcing teachers around the world, as well as in Ukraine, to actively move to e-learning. Intensive development of educational technologies requires revision of the content of education, forms, methods, learning technologies in order to enhance the cognitive activity of students, increase their motivation, which promotes the development of key competencies that enable to form a personality ready to choose a future profession. The article analyzes the concept of interactive learning technologies in mathematics lessons in a secondary school. Both domestic and foreign experience in the use of interactive technologies in combination with information and communication technologies in mathematics lessons is analyzed; the features of using new approaches in teaching mathematics in a secondary school are considered as well as their necessity is substantiated, the benefits of integrating modern Internet technologies in the educational process, the use of interactive technologies in the classroom and in the process of organizing independent work of students are described, and the use of this innovative technology in the educational process in a secondary school is considered. The article suggests the practical application of interactive technologies on the Padlet platform while studying methods for solving trigonometric equations, describes the features of the work organization for a teacher and the requirements for the level of preparation of students.
