Abstract
The working program of the discipline "Integrated practical course of the English language" is prepared in accordance with the Educational program 013.00.01 Primary education (short cycled training program), specialization "Foreign language". The program is designed for the second-year students of the first (bachelor's) level of full-time and part-time education. The purpose of the course is to acquaint with the basic linguistic phenomena and concepts of the English language, features of its vocabulary, stylistics, phonetics, grammar; to provide the study of theoretical foundations as a basis for mastering foreign language activities; to form the ability to analyze and interpret linguistic and speech phenomena and facts. The program defines the main tasks aimed at the formation and development of general and professional competencies. The results of teaching students within the discipline should be the following abilities: to plan and organize the educational process of teaching foreign languages, using general didactic, methodological principles, forms and methods; to apply traditional and innovative technologies of foreign language teaching, to develop and design syllabi of foreign language lessons, to analyze and self-analyze the lesson; to control, check, evaluate and keep records of students' academic achievements in a foreign language.
