Abstract
The quarantine restrictions imposed in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic have negatively affected business in various countries around the world and in Ukraine as well. During the quarantine period, companies optimized their work as much as possible: part of the staff was reduced, part was transferred to remote work. During the quarantine period, small and medium-sized businesses suffered the most, including cinemas, travel agencies, hotel and restaurant businesses. However, the payment of taxes to the budget by hospitals and communication and delivery facilities has increased. The issue of state aid to small and medium-sized businesses in the period of quarantine restrictions is relevant and important.
