Abstract

The academic discipline "Conductor's class: Conducting" is aimed at developing musical and aesthetic intelligence, developing skills in working with scores, studying the specifics of managing a musical group, preparing students for concert, creative and pedagogical activities. The Conducting Class: Conducting course covers a wide range of musical activities, in particular: analysis of a piece of music; instrumental and vocal-intonation study of musical material; conductor's assimilation of the score; creation of a clear performing concept; modeling of ensemble performance through the embodiment of various styles and genres; team management methodology. The main aspect of Conductor's Class: Conducting is a meaningful formation of intelligible mimic-manual choral technique in the study and performance of works, as the most important means of communication with the collective and the listener.
