Abstract

In the article, authors express the opinion that “smart factories” (“smart production”) is a concept of “digitalization” of industrial production in order to improve their operational activities and business efficiency, work within the 5th and the 6th technological way. Author’s vision of the characteristic features and difference between Industry 4.0 and Industry X.0 is presented. Authors make the scientific assumption that Industry X.0 will become the highest stage of digitalization in the near future and is a concept of innovative digital production, which consists of smart assets, smart services, smart business and smart government. The ecosystem of Industry X.0, according to scientists, is a kind of dynamic, adaptive “organism” aimed at the technological development of the country in the 7th technological way and not only through territorial cooperation, whose participants, combining their resources, they pursue the goal of jointly achieving innovative results on mutually beneficial principles, but also the full use of the potential of virtual and augmented reality, which open up from the use of digital sharing platforms (sharing economy/line economy). It is argued by the study of the article that the type of innovation economy in which Industry X.0 is implemented lies in the development of digital economy, however, the formation of gig economy is observed, the economy operates in virtual and augmented reality; features inherent in the production of Industry 4.0 are the automation of production, its standardization, harmonization of initiatives and development programs and the emergence of cyber production, cyber systems, cyber machines, which are available and not yet integrated into one network at all levels of economic aggregation. Authors present possible options for the implementation of Industry X.0, including: “fusion” technology, psi-technology (advances in modern psychology, including new means of managing people), bioenergy, technologies related to morality and responsibility. The 7th way is implemented on the basis of the formation of Industry X.0 with the help of: hyperintelligence, hypercognition, hyperinformation, hypercommunication, “Games with subconscious and mind”. The opinion is expressed that the model of e-commerce that will prevail in Industry X.0 is a business-to-business: B2B model – the subject (manufacturer of goods and services) is a business and an object (consumer of goods/services) is a business. An unlimited B2B market for digital companies will be created, the development of new areas and factors of development will be stimulated, where the leading role will be given to production innovations exclusively on the basis of “green” and low-carbon technologies.
