The article is devoted to outlining the ways of intensification of the foreign language learning by means of technologies of content visualization in a higher educational institution in order to improve the professional training of students of non-core specialties. It is proved that under the conditions of blended learning the technologies of content visualization increase the information capacity and knowledge consolidation of the educational material, intensify learning activities via independent students’ scientific research strategies and formation of intellectual communication skills, ability to self-reflection and continuous self-improvement, the priority of independent cognitive and creative activities, the focus on the selected and significant educational product with further prospects for its development. The expediency of using mind mapping, infographics and timeline as visualization educational content tools has been introduced and methodically substantiated in the e-learning educational and methodical complex on the course of "First Foreign Language (English)" for 1st and 2nd year students of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, specialty 032 "History and Archeology". Associative visual-graphic images are important organizing links in the design of conceptual categorical connections of the structural-semantic organization of lexical material on the topic in the foreign language learning. The content density, associativity and accessibility of infographics indicate the maximum functionality of educational content processing not only at the stage of perception, but also at the stages of understanding, generalization and systematization of educational material in foreign language learning. The timeline visualization method involves professional competence forming activity of students-historians, which reveals in an independent systematic review of a historical phenomenon, event or process, critical analysis and providing a qualitative assessment of preconditions, development trends, results and consequences. Visualization technologies intensify active foreign language learning process as well as qualitatively increase its results.
