Abstract

The working curriculum of the discipline "ICT in International Relations" is a normative document of Kyiv University named after Borys Hrinchenko, which was developed by the Department of Information Technology and Mathematics on the basis of educational and professional training program for first (bachelor) level students according to the curriculum of specialty 291 International Relations and regional studies of the educational program 291.00.01 Public communications. The program determines the amount of knowledge that must be acquired by the applicant of the first (bachelor's) level in accordance with the requirements of educational qualifications, the algorithm for studying the subject "ICT in international relations" and the necessary methodological support, components and technology for assessing student achievement. The selective block "International Media Communications" is aimed at deepening general, in particular, foreign language proficiency, and professional competencies within the chosen specialty 291 International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies (educational program "Public Communications") in the direction of identifying methods of manipulating mass consciousness and disinformation in the media and the Internet, development and implementation of image and PR campaigns at the national and international levels, using modern information and communication technologies and tools of information and analytical work. The discipline "ICT in International Relations" is one of the elective disciplines for students of the thematic specialization "International Media Communications". The volume of the discipline is 120 hours (4 credits).
