Abstract

The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with the main trends of the modern mass media sphere and prospects and directions of its development; to prepare them for rapid adaptation in the conditions of changes and development of technical and technological bases of journalistic activity, increase of requirements to professional knowledge, abilities and skills; to form the ability to combine inviolable journalistic standards with new conditions and forms of work; to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities to work in new mass media; learn to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
