Abstract

In this article highlighted results of theoretical and empirical research of problem of tolerance formation in future teachers of preschool children. Characterized content of tolerance and its place in the personal and professional development of the future teacher. Presented developed tolerance structure for teacher of preschool children, which includes components: value orientations, emotional stability, communicative competence, behavioral skills. Determined, that the process of tolerance formation is influenced by many factors, such as: person individual characteristics and their way of life, cultural traditions of the people, environment, mass media. Presented results of empirical research of tolerance formation in students of the specialty 012 «Preschool education» first (bachelor's) educational level of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. For diagnosis was used express questionnaire «Tolerance index» G. Soldatovoi and questionnaire «Tolerance test» V. Boiko. Determined levels of tolerance formation by using a score scale of degree of manifestation indicators (low, medium, high). Revealed experience of application of educational and extracurricular forms of work in institution of higher education in order to form tolerance in students. Singled out pedagogical conditions of successful tolerance formation as a component personal and professional development of future teacher of preschool children. Which include: development of educational content to ensure conscious understanding by students essence and structure of tolerance, as integrative quality of personality; activation of students cognitive activity, that aimed on self-diagnosis and self-development of tolerance; formation of abilities to effectively interact with different categories of people on the basis of respect, unconditional acceptance, mutual understanding. In conclusions emphasized, that determining for the tolerance formation as a component of personal and professional development of the future teacher are the use of different forms of educational and extracurricular activities of appropriate content and a humane environment, full of respect and support, unconditional acceptance of each student as personality.
