Peculiarities of preparation of teachers of instrumental and performing disciplines for conducting online classes are characterized. The content of teacher training in the ICT module is revealed. The results of the survey (survey) of teachers of the department are summarized and the levels (sufficient, medium and high) of the readiness of teachers of the department to use distance learning technologies are determined. It was found that the respondent teachers who took part in our study (20 of them) are able to provide training for students at sufficient (40%), intermediate (45%) and high (15%) levels. The experience of distance learning of students in this field is analyzed. An example of the correction of the educational work program "Musical Instrument" for undergraduate pianists in accordance with the new conditions of study during the covid-19 pandemic is presented.
