Abstract

In the article the authors note the importance of modernization of organizational forms of education in higher education institutions as the primary quality of modern education. The aim is to determine the theoretical justification and empirical verification of the problem of modernization of organizational forms of education in the conditions of paradigmatic changes. The object of the study outlines the process of modernization of organizational forms of education in higher education institutions. The subject of the research is organizational forms of education in the conditions of paradigmatic changes. The results of analysis of scientific sources, study and generalization of pedagogical experience of authors (teaching and learning), results of observations of undergraduates allowed to draw conclusions teaching in higher education institutions: reducing the volume of teaching lectures in connection with the expansion of access to educational information and, accordingly, «reformatting» the functions and content of the lecture course (orientation, instructional, problem lectures); overcoming the opposition of lecture and practical methods of teaching student activities; active use of modern technologies in the teaching process, etc. The authors concluded that the modernization of forms of education is a necessary condition for quality education in higher education, but it is important to take into account the psychological and pedagogical aspects of communication between students and teachers. In the future, it is worth exploring the optimization of the educational process in higher education institutions in the context of distance learning.
