Abstract

The purpose of the study. Social communications are currently at the stage of outlining and establishing the leading methodological and categorical apparatus of science. There is a need to study the fundamental units of communication, taking into account various factors that determine the leading aspects and milestones of science. One of them we consider communication platforms and their interface. The purpose of scientific research is to study the existing variants of the CP interface from the standpoint of methodological analysis. Research methods. The methodology of the study was to use a number of methods to achieve the objectives. A method of theoretical analysis of scientific points of view for studying the phenomenon of “Interface”, in particular its place in “Social Communications”. A method of comparing existing scientific positions, which made it possible to derive a vision of the term “Communication Platform Interface” and its main features. The hypothetical method made it possible to assume that the field of “social communications” (especially their applied field “requires a clear separation of its constituent units. This helped to describe not only the scientific assumption, but to outline the elements of originality of the scientific vision of the phenomenon of ICP. It consists in the fact that the implementation mechanisms and use of KP directly depend on its category. Hence there is the nature and character of the content, the formation of the portrait of the user KP, the formation of typicality, belonging to the class, etc. Description method is to summarize the results of the study. Results. The concept of the communication platform interface is studied in the article. The visions of different scientists have been described; the existing points of view have been analyzed. The proposed own vision, proposed as a terminological unit inherent in the scientific field of “Social Communications”, made for the first time. Conclusions. The article proposes typological units that distinguish the “Interface of communication platforms” from other types of this term. This approach is necessary from a methodological point of view, because it will help to outline the applied social communication technologies in “social communications”.
