Abstract

Goal. To find out the specifics of dramatic anthologies of the period of Ukrainian Independence in the context of general processes of anthology of Ukrainian literature and culture, which have different tasks and different readership; to trace which other segments of modern Ukrainian culture are modeled by these anthological publications; to propose the periodization of the development of the segment of Ukrainian dramatic anthologies of the studied period. Research methodology. Cultural anthropology, receptive aesthetics, postcolonial studies, nonlinear analysis of complex systems. Scientific novelty. The article is only the first part of a series of scientific investigations “Modern dramatic anthologies in the context of anthology of Ukrainian cultural processes”, devoted to the historical and analytical systematization of Ukrainian dramatic anthologies from the late twentieth century to the present. Innovative is the view of the dramatic anthologies of this period as a holistic text with its creators, characters, plots, reflections and recipients. The first scientific periodization of dramatic anthologies of the period of disintegration of the USSR and the period of Ukrainian Independence is proposed and substantiated. European comparative practices - the “mirror stage” (2003 – present). The first stage of this classification, to which the methods of nonlinear analysis of complex systems are applied, is subjected to conceptual analysis from the standpoint of cultural anthropology, receptive aesthetics and postcolonial studies. The scientific field of the following articles of this cycle is outlined, the transition from discrete presentability to conceptualization and semiotization in the field of modern Ukrainian dramatic anthologies is recorded.
