Abstract

The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of researches of a problem of components of resource potential of the person. It clarifies the concept of resource potential and its components. Cognitive, affective-value and behavioral components are distinguished. Resource potential is considered as a set of personality qualities, a special integral quality that performs the function of "realization" of the subject. The article reveals the views of scientists on the role of vitality, self-actualization and the ability to use resources depending on the needs and values of the subject as a resource potential of the individual. Loss of resources is the primary factor that triggers a stress response. But the subject's reaction to the situation is determined by how he perceives it. In particular, vitality as a system of attitudes and integrative property of the individual, characterizes his ability to successfully withstand life's problems and difficulties. Guidelines for controlling the situation, accepting the challenge, inclusion in the flow of life allow the individual to act effectively in different situations. Self-actualization is studied as the main motive of man, a fundamental aspect of human nature, which encourages him to move towards greater congruence and more realistic functioning. The authors of the article identify areas for further research on the problem of vitality and self-realization as components of the resource potential of the individual: the study of the interaction of cognitive, value-affective and behavioral components of the resource potential. An obstacle to the development of vitality and self-actualization is the negative impact of past experience, irrational behavior; group pressure; internal psychological protection and deviation from reality. The process of self-actualization occurs through the stages of crystallization of the personal essence, the disclosure of one's own inner essence (manifestation of the qualities of individuality), the objectification of essential forces, ie active external activity. At the same time, the individual acquires psychological resources and develops its resource potential.
