Abstract
The article is devoted to such a topical issue for Ukrainian teachers as the definition of sequential practical steps that must be taken by the members of the IEP team for: 1) establishing a high-quality educational process; 2) the maximum development of the social, mental and physical abilities of students with special educational needs; 3) facilitating the participation of students with special educational needs in educational activities and social life. The algorithm of psychological and pedagogical support for students with special educational needs should be based on the principles of teamwork and be implemented in clear sequential steps that provide for the responsible position of the IEP team members and their competence in creating an inclusive educational environment and the use of inclusive technologies. The sequence of actions of the IEP team covers such stages as: determination of the composition of the team and preparation for the first meeting; a meeting of the IEP team members, at which the formulation of annual goals and short-term instructional objectives for the development of a student with special educational needs takes place and the planning of coordinated actions to achieve these goals; collegial development of an individual educational plan that should be effective rather than bureaucratic; implementation of the process of achieving goals and monitoring the dynamics of success with the subsequent adjustment of goals. We give an example of a program to improve the competence of primary school teachers with an inclusive form of education, which we implemented during the year. This program was implemented with the support of available expert coaching. The result of this program was significant progress in the acquisition of inclusive technologies by the members of the escort teams and the ability to work in a team interaction mode. The implementation by a multidisciplinary IEP team of a targeted and consistent accompaniment of a student with special needs makes the establishment of a developing environment for all participants in the educational process.
