Abstract

The article considers the peculiarities of perception and use of color by preschool children in artistic and productive activities. It was found that color is an integral qualitative characteristic of objects and phenomena of the environment. According to the age capabilities of students, it is important to enrich the experience of cognition, experimenting with color as a means of expression in artistic and productive activities. Research has been conducted and the opinion of scientists on the influence of gender stereotypes on children's perception of color has been confirmed.
