Abstract

The article reveals the problem of formation of foreign language communicative competence in higher educational institutions, which is a priority area of English language teaching. The priority tasks set for the training of new generation specialists have been identified. The meaning of the term "foreign language communicative competence" is revealed. The three structural components of foreign language communicative competence are determined
