Abstract

The purpose of the educational discipline is to deepen the professional competence of the students in the practical application of methods of psychological diagnosis of mental phenomena and mathematical processing of psychological facts as effective tools for solving the problem of obtaining new knowledge about psychological phenomena, states and processes and deeper penetration into their essence. Course tasks: • analysis of the meaning and place of psychodiagnostics in solving problems of practical psychology; • disclosure of the main goals and tasks, as well as requirements for users of psychodiagnostic methods; • formation of the ability to draw up a program of psychodiagnostic research in accordance with certain practical tasks; • acquiring the ability to apply psychological and statistical methods of diagnosis and analysis of mental phenomena in practice.
