The article scientifically substantiates the synergetic basis of the professional training of instrumental-performance students at the university. An analysis of philosophical and scientific-pedagogical works on the problem in question was carried out. The essence of synergetics as a methodological approach and a new interdisciplinary area of scientific research is revealed. Modern concepts of higher education system development based on synergetic principles are analysed. Synergetic properties of individual, ensemble and orchestral training of future bachelors of music art are identified. The focus is on developing students' professional qualities and self-organisation skills necessary for pedagogical and concert performing activities. The importance of professional communication (verbal and non-verbal) in the creative interaction between student and teacher in instrumental-performance classes is described. The pedagogical conditions for the implementation of the synergetic approach in instrumental-performance classes are substantiated. The professional training of future instrumentalists at the university is defined as an organised and streamlined system of instrumental performance classes and practices, that prepares students for pedagogical and concert-performance activities. The pedagogical feasibility of the synergetic approach in the professional training of instrumentalist students at university is proved. Conclusions are formulated: 1) synergetic approach is a relevant area of professional training for student nstrumentalists at university, which reflects contemporary requirements for the professional mobility and creativity of musician-performers; 2) organising the educational process in instrumental-performance classes on a synergetic basis promotes students' creative development, formation of non-standard style of thinking, mastering the skills of creative cooperation and self-organisation; 3) knowledge of synergetic properties of instrumental performance (solo, ensemble, orchestral) ensures the effectiveness of professional training of instrumental students at university.
