Abstract

It is indicated that the loss of a home is a difficult experience for Ukrainians nowadays. Losing a home leads to mental trauma, provokes uncertainty, loss of a sense of security and stability; experienced by people as the loss of their place in the world. The emergence of intrapersonal conflicts associated with loss of home, provoked by the discrepancy between the real and the desired, the impossibility of realizing one's essence in the existing extreme conditions. A person in a situation of loss faces the task of reconstructing his own identity, solving the task of restoring the meaning of existence. A three-component model of work with complex trauma is presented, which can be applied when an individual experiences the loss of a home.
