Abstract

The present study aims at describing specific types of foreign language competences tailored for 0.32 History and Archaeology students enrolled in the English-language-taught bachelor programme. The suggested methodological and conceptual basis is approached by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL, 2001), the advanced principles and guidelines are targeted at non-philological higher education field. Furthermore, the research has a concrete practical application as the methodological bases outlined to address professionals in the field of foreign language teaching, researchers or practitioners, curricula designers, university language teachers in non-philology faculties.
