Abstract

The study of the folk-instrumental art of Ukraine is one of the key branches of the Ukrainian academic school. Pop art appears as an integral component of extrapolation processes, which, in line with the visualization of this article, was activated in the 20th century and develops in a parallel spectrum with the participation of folk instruments, in particular – accordion. A number of folk collectives of the 20th century, had works in their repertory catalogue or songs of pop content. Mainly, these are groups of amateur significance, although there are also professional, who are part of a particular concert organization. It is worth geographically visualizing a number of collectives, who introduced folk instruments to their ensemble, or consisted exclusively of folk instruments and actively popularized the performance of pop content. Among these are «Musical eccentric trio», «Retro», «Native chants» (Kyiv); «Jem», «Slavyans» (Odesa); cover group «Village and People», vocal and instrumental ensemble «Retro-band Holiday», ensemble «3+2» of the Kharkiv Philharmonic (Kharkiv); concert ensemble «Kyivska Rus» of the Luhansk Regional Philharmonic; Orchestra H. Shenderev of Russian folk instruments of the Simferopol City Variety Theater; folk folklore and ethnographic collective «Biloluchanka»; folk ensemble «Lugari» of the Luhansk University of Internal Affairs; ensemble of folk music and songs of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity of Verkhnyodniprovsk «Ukrainian Souvenir» and others. It is worth including a wide representation of collectives of Donetsk Region, Dnipropetrovsk Region, Odesa, Mykolaiv Region, Kirovohrad Region, Kherson Region, Poltava Region, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, etc. It is tracked separately Lviv Region. Here, evolutionary processes with the participation of the accordion and other folk instruments originate from the pop ensembles of the «Leonid Yablonsky Chapel» and pop instrumental quartet of the Lviv Philharmonic, through the transformation of the traditions of philharmonic accordion-variety performance introduced into the chamber orchestra «Virtuosos of Lviv», intensification of the activities of the variety ensemble «Falcons» in the folklore and pop collective «Orchestra Vito».
