Abstract
The article examines the issue of the development of professional competence of future musicians-performers in the system of university education as a set of professional qualities and knowledge that are projected onto the skills necessary for the successful implementation of professional activities. It is noted that the content of the "competence" category should include motivational, value, activity and effective components of the training system for the formation of key competences of specialists, provided they are ready to realize their professional goals. The competence bases of the professional self-development of a musician-performer in the process of vocal and instrumental training are substantiated. The essence of the future specialist - musician to self-realization is considered, criteria and indicators of professional formation are highlighted, clusters of competences are singled out as an educational result of the studied phenomenon. Different approaches to defining the essence and specifics of performance activity, the basic knowledge, abilities and skills that a modern musician-performer should possess are analyzed. It was determined that the essence of the competence concept of education consists in the systematic organization of intellectual, communicative, moral, creative requirements in the preparation of a future specialist. It is noted that competence is a norm of requirements that are necessary for the high-quality training of a specialist. Competences of the future specialist in musical art include his ability to independently perform and verbally interpret musical images; activity - the creative component of the artistic competence of the future performer leads to the development of professional guidelines for students. The relationship between professional motivation and professional and pedagogical competence of higher education teachers is characterized. It was determined that interest in the process and results of activity is based on the desire for self-development and self-affirmation.
