Abstract
The article identifies the main types, methods and principles that help to form the readiness of future primary school teachers to conduct scientific and pedagogical research. It is determined that in order to solve this problem, according to the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education", students should be involved in research, development work, conferences, symposia, exhibitions, competitions, and presentations of their works for publication, as this will provide an opportunity to form their readiness to conduct scientific and pedagogical research. Based on the analysis of scientific approaches, it is substantiated that scientific and pedagogical research is a process and result of teachers' scientific and pedagogical activities, which leads to the acquisition of new knowledge about the objective state of affairs in education, as well as the identification of opportunities and mechanisms for its improvement. The article considers that scientific and pedagogical research consists of the following steps: defining the research problem, setting the goal, collecting and analyzing information, formulating a hypothesis, planning and organizing an experiment, analyzing and summarizing the results of the experiment, substantiating the novelty of the results obtained and drawing conclusions. It is determined that in order to form the readiness of future primary school teachers to conduct research, it is advisable to use the following types of classes: lectures-conversations, problematic seminars, various types of practice (in the junior years of study); problematic lectures, seminars-discussions, various types of practice (in the senior years); interactive lectures, seminars-presentations of projects, various types of practice (bachelor's, master's degrees). It is noted that the formation of research competence is carried out through the following forms of work: term papers, scientific circles, scientific seminars, competitions, diploma papers, scientific and practical conferences, competitions, student scientific society. It is concluded that the training of future primary school teachers for scientific and pedagogical research is a process of interaction of needs, interests, value orientations, motives, professional knowledge and practical skills, and professionally significant qualities that allow a specialist to effectively carry out practical activities.
