Abstract
The article focuses on the relevance of the problem of organizational and methodological support of the teacher's work on the development of the section "Parts of speech" in primary grades in pedagogical theory and practice. The essence and content of the basic concepts of the research are disclosed. The psychological and pedagogical aspect of the problem is considered. The linguistic and didactic foundations of studying the "Parts of speech" section in the practice of primary teaching of the Ukrainian language are described. An analysis was made and a diagnosis was made of the state of ensuring the mastery of grammar knowledge and skills by elementary school students. The organizational and methodological foundations of learning parts of the language in Ukrainian language lessons in primary school are substantiated. Pedagogical conditions for effective assimilation of the "Parts of speech" section by primary school students as a basis for further learning of grammar in secondary and high school are indicated. Monitoring of the effectiveness of the developed organizational and methodical foundations of studying morphology in primary school was carried out. A step-by-step method of forming grammatical concepts about parts of speech in elementary school is presented. The main directions of the teacher's work on the formation of linguistic and grammatical competence in younger schoolchildren have been determined: work on students' assimilation of independent parts of speech (noun, adjective, verb, numeral, adverb, pronoun) and their characteristic grammatical categories; familiarizing students with official words (preposition, conjunction, particle) and their role in sentences; formation of linguistic and grammatical abilities and skills; development and improvement of the ability to perform morphological analysis of words that belong to independent parts of speech. A system of language-grammatical exercises and tasks aimed at forming the language-grammatical competence of younger schoolchildren has been developed. Methodological recommendations for primary school teachers on organizing the study of the "Parts of Speech" section and forming students' grammatical abilities and skills in Ukrainian language lessons are indicated.
