Abstract
The article examines the impact of learning foreign languages on students' motivation to study in the higher education system.The purpose of the article is to formulate recommendations and to increase the motivation of learning in institutions of higher education. The subject of the article is foreign languages. The object of the article is the students themselves and their motivation, which affects their attitude and involvement in learning. The article examines the factors that can affect the level of motivation of students, and also looks for ways to increase motivation to achieve better academic results. The article highlights the importance of students' interest in the subject, as a lack of interest can lead to a decrease in their motivation. It also emphasizes the importance of setting clear personal and academic goals, as this can serve as a source of motivation to achieve results. The article also notes that positive reinforcement and recognition from others are important factors that motivate students to learn. The study also draws attention to the impact of stress on student motivation. It shows that excessive stress and overload can suppress students' motivation and negatively affect their learning process. The authors analyze various aspects of foreign language learning and their impact on students from different perspectives. The article highlights the role of learning foreign languages in expanding students' outlook, promoting the development of their cognitive skills, and increasing communication capabilities.
