Abstract

The article deals with the life-saving canons of humanity that contribute to the development and formation of the primary aspects of esthetic education. Attention is focused on the revival of national culture, which is the key to the formation of the national ideal. The context of a harmonious personality development under the influence of folk choreographic art and the national ideal on current environment is studied. Family background and traditions of pre-Christian pedagogy are analyzed. The concept of educational ideals, and ideas about a perfect personality, which becomes a paradigm for Ukrainian people mentality development, is considered. The universality of choreographic art principles, which have a positive impact on the spiritual health of the nation, is investigated. The attention is paid to the preservation of national heritage, which is a consolidating factor in the formation of national identity. The phenomenon of the spirituality of the Cossack characters, who preserved and passed on from generation to generation the magical art of their distant ancestors, is considered. This image has become an integral part of the overall collective image of the national character of the Ukrainian people, forming the basic aspects of the national ideal. The article describes the dance techniques of fighting gopak, which does not exist in combats and dances of other nations, and which promotes fitness and improves body and soul. The synthesis of fighting and choreographic art, which is based on a harmonious combination of physical processes with spiritual content and practice, is proven. In the course of the study, the educational value in personality development through the knowledge of the history of national culture development, continuity of existence in time and space of axiological national ideals was found. The author confirms that Ukrainian society needs to develop an image of the ideal person of the new millennium, which is the ideal of modern culture. The image that preserves the universal values of national consciousness and self-awareness, conveys a respectful attitude to national treasures, language, love for the country, and a sense of responsibility for its independence.
