The scientific work reveals the main trends in the use of artificial intelligence in the field of providing educational services in institutions of higher education. The legal basis for the use of artificial intelligence in the provision of educational services by higher education institutions is analyzed. Possible educational services that can be provided by artificial intelligence, replacing scientific and pedagogical workers and teaching staff in a higher educational institution, are revealed
