Abstract

Globalization involves the opening of local and international perspectives for a broader view of an interconnected and interdependent world. In Japan, many modern scholars are quite concerned about the social and cultural consequences of globalization, suggesting that such a process of internationalization in many manifestations occurred at the expense of the loss of Japanese culture and identity. In the process of globalization, the Japanese language not only undergoes changes, but also causes changes in other national languages, mostly at the lexical level. It is recommended to focus on what knowledge should be possessed by managers hiring or planning to hire foreign workers; what should a businessman be ready for in the process of communication with a foreign boss, colleague or subordinate; how to train qualified teaching staff to work with foreign students; how to establish a fruitful cultural exchange with foreign citizens in local communities.
