Abstract
In the proposed scientific investigation, the author makes an attempt to develop a holistic, systemic, interdependent and interdependent, open, purposeful and dynamically structured model of work on the formation of rhetorical competence in high school students. The key components of the model are three blocks: methodological; technological; effective. The methodological part of the model contains the purpose, main approaches and principles of formation of rhetorical competence of high school students. It presents the main ideas, theories and concepts that are the scientific basis for solving a given problem. Interdependent and interdependent blocks are also determined, which are implemented through the observance of pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the model. In addition, in this reception, the author offers a system of exercises and tasks for the formation of rhetorical competence, which consists of three blocks: motivational and actualization; cognitive-gnostic; praxeologically creative. The first group of exercises (motivational and actualization) stimulates students' interest in rhetoric, formation of rhetorical abilities and skills, motivates interpersonal communication, activates acquired knowledge, skills and abilities. The second group of exercises (cognitive-gnostic) activates the cognitive activity of high school students, promotes the acquisition of new knowledge and skills. Exercises of the third group (praxeologically creative) encourage communication, taking into account the acquired knowledge, formed abilities and skills, and communication conditions. The designated practical unit combines program material and psychological techniques-imperatives that encourage high school students to actively analyze, compare, generalize, and communicate freely. The author concludes that the process of forming rhetorical competence in students of grades 10-11 will be effective if their educational activities are focused on deepening knowledge about language and speech, communication and communication; formation of abilities and skills of mastering normative speech, etc. Emphasizes that the system of the above-mentioned (motivational-actualization, cognitive-gnostic; praxeological-creative) exercises will have a positive effect on the effectiveness of developing the specified skills and abilities
