Abstract

The study reveals the peculiarities of improving the professional competence of teachers and modern scientific approaches in the education of a valuable attitude towards a person in younger schoolchildren. The high demands on the modern teacher are determined by the objective needs of society, the new tasks that life sets before us, and the peculiarities of interaction with students based on ethical principles and moral imperatives. A modern teacher needs flexibility and non-standard thinking, the ability to adapt to rapid changes in life, the ability to creatively approach the organization of the educational process and achieve high work results, and this is possible only on the condition of achieving a high level of professional competence, having developed professional and personal abilities. Education of a valuable attitude towards a person is based on humanistic, personally oriented, subject-subject approaches. The practical significance of the research lies in the fact that its materials can be used in the educational process of primary school and during the training of primary school teachers.
