Abstract
This article examines the essence of the concept of “communicative competence” and its components. The results of research related to the current problems of the formation of communicative competence of future educators of preschool children as a component of general professional competence are analyzed. It was noted that the modern system of preschool education needs a highly qualified teacher capable of effectively and responsibly forming communicative competence in preschool children. The teacher must not only establish effective communication with all participants in the educational process of the preschool institution, but also teach children to express their opinions, contribute to their own experience of adequate use of speech in various life situations, and instill a culture of communication. In order to effectively manage the formation of the communicative competence of young and preschool children, the educator should appropriately use communication technologies, contribute to the creation of conditions for communication for each pupil, namely: trusting and emotional contact that promotes communication, ensuring psychological comfort for each pupil, the opportunity to express their own point of view and be heard. Thus, there is a need to activate an individual approach to students in the process of professional training, to raise their communicative level, to familiarize them with various modern communicative technologies and strategies, and to develop the ability of future teachers to appropriately apply them in the educational process of a preschool education institution; promote the development of creative abilities of future specialists, relying on their independent work, active forms and methods of educational interaction. The article defines the components of training future educators for the formation of communicative competence of preschool children, namely: speech competence; the ability to empathize, the ability to “feel” a child, “read” his condition; the ability to organize various forms of educational interaction that encourage children to actively communicate, defend their opinion, and show initiative; possession and appropriate use of modern communication technologies in the educational process of a preschool education institution.
