Abstract

The article deals with the problem of pedagogical design in the context of implementing the tasks of adult education. The author concludes that pedagogical design is not just another fashionable idea, but a response to a number of socio-economic challenges, social and educational transformations and an opportunity to create a quality educational product. The article analyses the history of the concepts of "educational design" and "pedagogical design", the essence of these concepts, methodological foundations, principles and approaches to the implementation of pedagogical design tasks. It is noted that pedagogical design is a component of educational design, it is focused on the development of integrative, project-based, interdisciplinary thinking and enables its adaptation to the socio-professional environment and the creation of new educational products. The main models of pedagogical design are reviewed and their characteristics are characterised. It is noted that pedagogical design is not an algorithmic process and, despite the variability of approaches to the implementation of the design idea, it is necessary to take into account the universal psychological and pedagogical features of the organisation and conduct of the educational process, of the learning subjects. In order to create a specific product of educational design, it is necessary to constantly monitor and diagnose various objective and subjective factors that need to be taken into account by the teacher.
