Abstract

Modern museum the exhibition needs an innovative approach, taking into account the needs and interests of visitors. Thus, new ways of creating humanistic content that can develop friendly socio-cultural environment. Examples show and describe their main features sloppiness Possible disproportions in the formation of local history museum content are also determined in Ukraine. Their elimination is considered as a way to significantly strengthen the socio-humanitarian mission of the educational museums in society. It is summarized that local history museums actively influence formation socio-humanitarian space of the region, act as intellectual and educational and cultural tourist and communication centers of the community, an effective mechanism of its socio-cultural transformations. Application of the multifunctional potential of the local history museum institution: scientific and research educational, cultural and aesthetic, economic, the community is able to implement socio-humanitarian transformations and to develop productively.
