Abstract

The publication refers to the transfer of powers by the State Center of the Ukrainian People's Republic in exile to the democratically elected authorities of Ukraine. The government in exile of the Ukrainian People's Republic operated in exile for almost 72 years, staying at different times in Poland, France, Germany and the USA. On August 22, 1992, on the first anniversary of the proclamation of the restoration of Ukraine's independence, the President, the Head of the Government of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Chairman of the Ukrainian National Council signed the "The Charter of Powers Termination and Termination of the State Center of the Ukrainian People's Republic in Exile". This document testified to the continuous struggle of Ukrainians for the restoration of their state in the 20th century. The Charter was signed to implement the decisions of the Labor People's Congress (1919), the Tenth Session (1989) and the Extraordinary Session (1992) of the Ukrainian National Council.
