Abstract

The manual presents the modern concept of international negotiations in the political sphere. Special attention is paid to complex negotiations in the conditions of acute conflict between the parties using mediation technologies, as well as the personal style of conducting negotiations of famous political leaders of our time. Western and Eastern negotiation strategies are considered, their strengths and weaknesses are analyzed, and national styles of international negotiations are explored. The theoretical sections of the manual are supplemented with practical tasks and cases. For higher education applicants of educational and professional programs 291.00.01 "Public Communications" and 291.00.02 "Regional Studies" at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 291 "International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies".
