Abstract
The article analyzes the origin and formation of the early intervention system in Ukraine from the declaration of independence to the present day. It is highlighted how the system of early intervention was established at the national level. The successful projects of early intervention implementations in various regions of Ukraine are given in this article. The purpose of the article is to highlight the concept of «early intervention system», to consider the development of this system in Ukraine and to determine the state of formation of the early intervention system on the territory of Ukraine. The relevance of research is determined by the growing demand for the formation of an early intervention system at the global, European and national levels, the essence of which is to correct the development of children from birth to four years. The first years of a new person's life are considered the most favorable for personality formation and brain development, timely detection of possible violations is better corrected and, as a result, the probability of positive social adaptation increases. An individual development program, which is based on the basic principles of the service, is drawn up for each child with special needs. A qualitatively developed system of providing educational and correctional services helps to solve a whole range of problems in order to achieve the harmonization of society by accepting persons with special needs. Research materials can be used by specialists of the early intervention system, in the system of higher and postgraduate education at the faculties of special education in the aspect of familiarizing students with the current state of the early intervention system development.
