After the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion to Ukraine on February 24, 2022, a large number of citizens of Ukraine was forced to leave her native country in search of asylum.The target location for temporary resettlement was Germany is a big European country, which is a place of refuge for about one million Ukrainian men and women. These people are representatives of various sociocultural and demographic groups, and their mass forced resettlement caused various scientific and practical questions. Analysis of this phenomenon is presented in the form of a general statistical portrait and opinions Ukrainian forced migrants in Germany in this article. The issue of adaptation of forced migrants and decisions regarding the future status (returning to the homeland or remaining in the current country stay) is being investigated by several scientists, but not enough yet revealed This article proposes to consider some issues related to Ukrainian immigrants in Germany and present new results regarding possible adaptation in this country or factors of the decision to return to Ukraine.
