Abstract

The article considers different approaches to the interpretation of the concept of "spirit" and "spirituality". It is noted that the category "spirit" was of interest to ancient scientists. Philo of Alexandria is one of the first philosophers to describe the spirit. Human modes are noted: spirit, soul and body. The category of "being" is highlighted, which in philosophical anthropology is considered as a general way of human existence. It is noted that the following forms of existence are considered in modern philosophy: everyday, borderline, extra-boundary. The essence of each form of existence is considered. A person, the bearer of everyday consciousness, is defined by lack of independence and is subject to external manipulation. The creative potential of such a person does not develop. Borderline existence denies the everyday and is characterized by independence, self-knowledge, and creativity. Such a being is distinguished by the development of personal consciousness. Extraterrestrial existence is characterized by directing the individual's will towards freedom and love. Each form of being corresponds to the level of development of human spirituality. A correlation is made between forms of existence and the level of development of human spirituality. The level of spiritual development is determined by its components: spiritual self-awareness, spiritual orientation, spiritual character traits, spiritual creativity, spiritual communication, spiritual experience. The characteristics of each component are given. The characteristic features of a person who has a personal worldview, which is a factor for the transition from one form of being to another, are considered. An indicator of a personal worldview is a deep analysis of one's existence and place in society. Attention is drawn to the internal transformations of a person living in a country where military operations are taking place. It is noted that in the times of global events that take place in society and threaten life, a reassessment of values takes place in the minds of people, and it is precisely such a time that contributes to the transition of the human masses from material to marginal existence. The characteristic of the extra-ordinary existence of a person and the level of spirituality for which the acquisition of unconditional love is characteristic are considered. Such a state leads to holiness and co-creator of the universe.
