Abstract
The article clarifies the essence and specificity of the use of an informological approach tothe professional training of philologists at a modern university. The state and prospects of scientific research in the field of pedagogical informology and pedagogical semiotics on informological support for the training of philological students are outlined; a scientific thesaurus of pedagogical informology is presented. Possibilities of information and technological support for the process of professional training of future philologists using different types of information (sound, text, numerical, graphic) in its structured and unstructured form have been substantiated. The conclusion about the triune meaning of language as a unifying factor for pedagogical informology, pedagogical semiotics, and the theory and practice of professional training of futurephilologists at the university is formulated. Information technologies of professional training of specialists are represented in the unity of software and hardware components; the role of modern information technologies in the process of traditional (offline) and remote (online) process of professional training of philologists is emphasized.The specifics of innovative processes in the development of information processes in the education system in the form of its digitization and digitization have been clarified. The content of the concept of "information technologies" as a system of ways and methods of using information and communication systems, implemented for the purpose of effective organization of professional training of philological specialists, is defined.It is noted that for the professional training of future philologists are important: educational ICT, ICT simulators, information and search ICT, demonstration ICT, simulation, gaming and modeling information technologies. Among the most common and educational process of HEI, electronic dictionaries and reference books, as well as electronic\digital textbooks and manuals (static, partially or completely multimedia, interactive and intellectual) are noted
