Abstract
The purpose of the presented work is to determine the features of the city's economy, to take into account such components as security and the social component, as well as to determine their place in the general economic system of the city. The economic system of the city is determined by a complex of production, financial, trade and other economic relations that arise within the urban environment. It covers various sectors of the economy, including industry, services, trade, finance and other industries. The main aspects of the city's economic system include: the location of industrial enterprises and production facilities within the city; use of modern technologies in the production process to increase productivity and competitiveness; availability of banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions to serve residents and businesses; maintenance and consulting services for enterprises and citizens; the operation of shops, markets and other commercial facilities to meet the consumer needs of residents and support business; development of Internet trade and electronic payment systems; attraction of investments for the development of city infrastructure, business projects and social programs; effective management of the budget and financial resources of the city; creation of spaces for the development and implementation of innovative technologies; support of scientific research and innovative projects; ensuring proper working conditions, development of training and skills, combating unemployment; attraction and retention of qualified workforce; development and support of the network of roads, public transport and other means of transport; ensuring stability and availability of energy and communication networks; implementation of measures to preserve the environment and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies; implementation of sustainable development strategies aimed at long-term sustainability of the city; involvement of residents in decision-making and city management; ensuring transparency and openness in power and management; development of international trade and economic ties to attract foreign investments and expand the city's export opportunities. The economic system of the city is dynamic and interconnected. The development of this system is usually determined by urban strategies aimed at stimulating economic growth, supporting innovation, increasing competitiveness and improving the quality of life. All these aspects interact and determine the economic image of the city. An integrated and coordinated approach to development can contribute to the creation of a sustainable and competitive economic system of the city that meets the modern challenges and needs of residents. Safety and social components are key aspects that are important to consider in the city's economic system to ensure sustainable development and improve the quality of life of residents. The current study found that these two components affect the city's economic system: stability and security in the city are key factors for successful business operations; development of an effective security system, including video surveillance systems, police presence and other measures to ensure community and business protection; protection of critical objects, energy systems, transport networks and other elements of the economic infrastructure from possible threats and attacks; development of crisis management plans and preparedness for possible dangers for effective response to emergency situations; creation of conditions for equal access to economic opportunities, education, health care and other resources for all segments of the population; development of educational programs and infrastructure to ensure quality education and development of skills that meet the needs of the labor market; ensuring access to effective health care and social support to support the health and well-being of the population; involving the community in decision-making, taking into account their opinions and needs to create an open and transparent administration; implementation of programs and projects aimed at supporting employment, especially among vulnerable population groups; creation of conditions for equal access to all spheres of society for people from different social and economic groups. The presented components interact and interconnect, creating sustainable and viable urban ecosystems. Ensuring security and social stability are prerequisites for the successful functioning of the city's economic system and the achievement of a high level of quality of life for all its residents.
