Abstract

The articleinterpretation of the concept “creativity” has been clarified. Having analyzed the layer of scientific research, a number of common views on this phenomenon have been outlined. Thus, creativity is considered as: the general ability to be creative; personality trait; the ability of the individual to go beyond the given situation, to create original values; the process of manifesting oneʼs own individuality; personality characteristic. Therefore, we interpret the creativity of 1st-grade students as a quality characteristic of a schoolboy who is able to think originally, generate creative ideas, go beyond the proposed artistic situation, and show his individuality in creative activity. The structure of creativity of 1st grade students is proposed. It includes 3 components: artistic and cognitive (includes creative thinking and perception); emotional-motivational (a positive emotional attitude to the persistent need for creative activity in an art class) and activity-creative (means the realization of the creative features of the student of education at the behavioral level). Taking into account the age characteristics of first-graders and the outlined conditions, we have developed a number of exercises and tasks for the development of creativity of first-graders. Among them: “Artist-improviser”, “Young composer”, “Vocal improvisation”, “Color kaleidoscope”, “Do-mi-solka”, “Colored lizard that sings”, “Strange architect”, “Chameleon”, “Two notes – two words”, “Music drawing”. Some of them are developed using mobile applications and component music laboratories, so they can be used during distance learning in martial law. The described pedagogical problem does not cover all aspects. There is a need to expand the series of creative tasks for the development of creativity and provides prospects for further study.
