Abstract

The article analyzes how the process of formation of the "mother cult" took place in the Third Reich and to what extent it was implemented. The factors that required the creation of such a cult are indicated and the theoretical developments of the leading figures of Nazism in this field are analyzed. It was revealed that all the activities of the Ministry of Public Education and Propaganda headed by J. Goebbels were directed to the implementation of these ideas. The trends that arose in society in connection with the emergence of the "cult of the mother" and the extent to which they affected the public and private life of women are also highlighted.
