Abstract

The article analyzes the means of propaganda used by the National Socialist leaders in various spheres of art to introduce a new gender policy. It was found that the implementation of new gender models was inextricably linked with the ideas of the concept of "national community". Art was nazified and cleansed of the presence of foreign manifestations in it. The newly formed Imperial Chamber of Culture, headed by J. Goebbels, was entrusted with the fulfillment of these duties. It was found that the musical culture was mainly oriented towards the ancient tradition of German folk and art music, which, within the framework of building a "folk community" in which all Germans would represent unity, came down to the idea of a "singing nation". To this end, songbooks with words and music were published, which were filled with gender propaganda. The Nazis established themselves in the importance of song as an effective teaching tool. It was determined that in order to nazify the art of the Third Reich, the Great German Art Exhibition was founded in 1937, the theme of "femininity and masculinity" was an obligatory component of it. The basis of fine art and sculpture was the idea of the natural roles of men and women, in which a special place was given to the fulfillment of duties. It was found that the use of cameras in everyday life was promoted in order to form a new German collective memory, which also contributed to the spread of visual gender propaganda. The inextricable connection between literature and ideology was traced. That is, books formed ideology, and the development of ideology, in turn, spilled over into writing books. Literature disseminated gender ideas through specific topics. It was revealed that the cinematography of Nazi Germany, in particular, films of the melodrama genre, had a high efficiency in penetrating the private lives of its citizens. National Socialist leaders established themselves in the idea of using a ceremony in the cultural life of society, which turns into a certain sacrament, and contributed to the spread of Nazi ideology.
