Abstract
The article deals with the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises of Ukraine during the war. According to the results of the analysis of the dynamics of the number of small, medium and large enterprises that worked on the territory of Ukraine for the period 2014-2022, it was established that the total number of enterprises decreased by 23.19% during the studied period, of which the total number of large enterprises decreased by 0.6%, medium - by 7.06%, small - by 24.02%. It was established that the largest specific weight in the total number of enterprises is held by small enterprises, whose specific weight in 2022 was 94.17%. On the basis of the conducted analysis, it was concluded that the total sales volume of products (goods, services) of Ukrainian enterprises for the period 2014-2022 increased by 2.64 times, including: large enterprises – by 3.41 times, medium-sized enterprises - 2.85 times, small enterprises - 2.98 times. It was established that in 2022, medium-sized enterprises had the largest share in the volume of sales of products (goods, services) compared to large and small ones, which amounted to 44.37%. It was established that during the studied time period 2014=2022, the total number of employees decreased by 14.54%, including: at large enterprises - by 28.47%, at medium-sized enterprises - by 4.22%, at small enterprises - by 15.25%. Medium-sized enterprises have the largest percentage of employees: in 2022, the percentage of employees at medium-sized enterprises amounted to 47.99%. it was concluded that labor productivity increased by 3.09 times at all enterprises, at large enterprises – by 3.23 times, at medium-sized enterprises – by 2.97 times, at small enterprises – by 3.52 times. The hostilities caused uncertainty, infrastructure destruction, population migration, and other negative factors that affected the business climate. Many entrepreneurs stopped or suspended their activities due to the impossibility of working in war conditions, however, 2023 showed a significant recovery and even exceeding the number of enterprises at the level of 2021.
