Abstract

Almost 80 years have passed he ensince td of the Second World War, and the interest in its events and active personalities does not fade. The past continues to haunt and this is a sure sign that not all the lessons of history have been learned. Thousands of different works are devoted to the political portrait of the leader of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler. But the scientific discourse around the criminal figure of the 20th century – the leader of Nazi Germany continues. After all, in this area lies the correct answer – what were the real causes of the Second World War and why the whole world found itself in the midst of a bloody catastrophe. The purpose of this publication is not only an attempt to reconstruct historical events, but to comparatively show the reader how the figure of A. Hitler could influence the post-war generations, in whom the war was genetically preserved in historical memory. And also, our publication is addressed to a new generation of people who were born half a century after the end of the Second World War, and were not direct witnesses of the past tragedy, whose knowledge about the war was contained in school textbooks, popular books, films and oral history. The figure of Adolf Hitler in the post-war period became famous and relevant. Without exaggeration, all famous tyrants of the 20th–21st centuries inherited the special features of the Nazi dictator. In the modern world, there are notable mutations of the fascist-Nazi regimes into authoritarian, totalitarian and clerical models. The apparent reincarnation of anti-democratic regimes, their open collaboration in the challenges of the 21st century, poses a real threat to modern civilization. The article emphasizes that a common theme for all dictators is the wars that permanently break out in the geographical spaces of the modern world. The main author’s intention of the publication is to pay attention to the unpredictable scenarios by which modern history moves. Contemporaries are increasingly gripped by the feeling that Hitler’s cause is alive. Today’s dictators are increasingly attracted by the temptations of world domination, not only economic interests. With a surprising analogy, in the first quarter of the 21st century, humanity found itself on the brink of a new world war
